The Long Island Chapter’s NCMA luncheon workshop is scheduled for Tuesday, May 22, 2012. Find out how the Aerospace Defense business has changed in 2011 and what you can expect in 2012. We are very pleased that Price Waterhouse Coopers Partners, Christopher Kulp and Scott Thompson will provide us with details on the Aerospace and Defense changes including globalization, risks, financial forecasts, growth patterns, productivity, challenges and opportunities. Your board is looking for volunteers to help during NCMA events. If you are interested in helping at specific LINCMA workshop/dinner/seminar, please contact Gina Bonora. The pictures from the June Awards Dinner are now available. Applicant must meet the following basic criteria: Pursuing a degree or courses (either formal education or professional education received by attendance at seminars, workshops, passing NCMA sponsored professional examinations, etc.) consistent with academic disciplines generally deemed relevant to professional acquisition management activities or duties. For College course applicants: Enrolled for the 2012 - 2013 scholastic year in an accredited academic institution as either a full-time or part-time student (pursuing at a minimum a three credit course, or its equivalent) in good standing in a program leading to either a baccalaureate or advanced degree. Agreement to maintain good standing as an NCMA Long Island Chapter member for a period of at least one year after receipt of scholarship and to reimburse the Long Island Chapter for all scholarship funds awarded in the event this condition is not fulfilled.
